Haute Eating: Dinner & Live Cabaret Music Series at Café Sabarsky
You might feel as if you’ve been swept away to another era, such as the decadence of Vienna, when attending a dinner and live cabaret show at Café Sabarsky. The location at The Neue Galerie, a museum noted for its 20th-century Austrian and German art, sets the tone. Each Thursday evening during the month of April, at 7 p.m., Austrian chef Kurt Gutenbrunner prepares a modern Viennese three-course prix-fixe dinner, which is then followed by a performance at 9 p.m. by a renowned cabaret singer such as scintillating German chanteuse Ute Lemper.
Get out your datebooks, because this is one dinner series that you won’t want to miss. The cabaret series lineup:
April 1: Kim Smith
The mesmerizing Australian cabaret artist returns to Café Sabarsky with a program celebrating the decadent decade of the 1920s.
April 8, plus special appearances on the 9th & 10th: Ute Lemper
There is no contemporary cabaret artist quite like Lemper, known for her versatility, flair, and sophistication. She will revisit the timeless collection of Berlin Kabarett for her performances.

Internationally celebrated bass-baritone Robert Osborne presents a new program inspired by the Neue Galerie’s Otto Dix show.
