Blade Sushi Lounge Closes Monday

Looking to move in a more “nightlify” direction, Blade Sushi Lounge at the Fontainebleau will close officially this coming Monday, March 29 for renovations. Let’s hope while they’re redoing the place they give the menu a once-over, too.

Known for a swanky layout, pretty good sake and generic lineup of not-so-groundbreaking rolls (I’m sorry, but a California roll does not qualify as special), the venue will re-open early summer 2010. Press materials expect the new locale to be “chic, high energy and celeb-driven.” We’ll see.
