And Today’s Winner Is…Hautest Actor: Johnny Depp
In our most recent issue of Haute Living Los Angeles, we premiered our Hollywood Power Players feature, identifying the who’s who that are running the industry, and thus, keeping their competition running scared.
Some of the names that made our list, proving that they are powerful forces to be reckoned with in Hollywood, include Ari Emanuel, James Cameron, and Ryan Kavanaugh.
But today’s top winner for the Hautest Actor in Hollywood is…(insert drum roll here)…Johnny Depp. Though he may not have taken home the Academy’s golden statue, (we’re sure he was “honored just to be nominated”), he still wins today’s Haute Hollywood Award.
As Editorial Director Stephanie Wilson explained in the print edition, Depp made our list of Power Players because he’s über haute, he owns his own 45-acre island, Little Hall’s Pond Cay, and he’s quite the box-office draw: films starring Depp have grossed billions worldwide. He’s been nominated for a slew of awards, including three “Best Actor” nominations from the Academy Awards.
He’s been all over Google news since the release of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland, which has been No. 1 at box offices all over the world since its release, including opening here in the U.S. with $116.3 million for its premiere weekend.
Congrats Johnny.
