An Evening of Christophe Coiffing in Beverly Hills
On March 10, Christophe Salon in Beverly Hills hosted a swanky cocktail party, beauty drive, and silent auction at their Beverly Hills Salon to help raise funds for the heart transplant and recovery of “Mad Men” actor Edin Gali’s 17-year old cousin, Alma Hadzic.
Edin’s cousin, Alma, is a 17-year-old Bosnian girl who only has a few months to live unless she receives a life-saving heart transplant. Thus far, Alma’s family has been unsuccessful in securing all of the funds necessary to ensure that she receives the transplant and post surgery care. Her family has exhausted all of their savings and is already in debt from financing Alma’s medical expenses.
From 6 – 9 p.m., upward of 250 guests (including DeDee Pfeiffer, Allegra Riggio, Cindy Cowan, Anastasia Fontaines, Dyan Cannon) moved and shook to the thumping music while noshing on petite goodies, imbibed alcoholic concoctions made with Pinky vodka, and bidding on a variety of items in the silent auction. In addition, many guests got themselves coiffed by Christophe’s stylists, including the man himself (whose clients include lovely ladies like Heidi Klum, Pink and Ke$ha.) At one point it felt more club than salon – which is all in all a good thing.
The newly announced “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” showed up en masse – namely sisters Kim Richards and Kyle Richards (aunts to Paris and Nicky Hilton), and interior designer and restauranteur (Villa Blanca, Beverly Hills) Lisa Vanderpump. The Bev Hills babes were looking vava voomish and ready for drama. (Three additional housewives are still yet to be revealed).
All in all, the evening raised over five figures for Alma’s surgery – and more is still coming in.
