Timeless Designs
by Igal Haimov

At the age of 12, I enrolled in a private school dedicated to fashion and design and was instantly drawn to the track of the program that focused on the creation of luxury jewelry pieces. I immediately picked up on the nuances of the craft and have spent the rest of my career honing those innate skills that I was blessed enough to discover years ago.

At 14 years old, I moved with my family to New York City with the dream of becoming a world-class jeweler. I worked hard to make that dream a reality by serving as an apprentice for a jeweler in New York’s 47th Street diamond district. Later, my family and I decided to relocate and we opened our first store in downtown Miami selling gold, diamonds, and my own custom-designed jewelry pieces.

We have come quite a long way from those early days, though I am still inspired to design special pieces every week. I am best known amongst my clients for the unique octagonal shape of the faces of my luxury timepieces, a design so exceptional that six years ago, it caught the eye of basketball great Shaquille O’Neal. Today, I am proud to have a following of celebrity clients that includes names like Dwyane Wade, 50 Cent, Timbaland, Nelly, and Paris Hilton, but I will always remember that it was the great Shaq who was the first one to give me the push and help promote my brand. Part of my signature style that is so popular with my clients, famous or not, is the fact that most luxury timepieces feature round faces. The octagon is the only shape that I have used throughout my various collections, and it has become one of the defining characteristics of my designs. The removable bezel is also a feature that I have designed and copyrighted. The result is a timepiece that can transition from daytime wear to something more sophisticated for when nighttime luxury calls.
