San Francisco Opera patrons Julie Coplon and Bob Capan opened their home last week to celebrate this year’s Opera Ball, “An Evening in the Forbidden City,” to be held in connection with the 89th season-opening production of Puccini’s “Turandot” on Sept. 9 at the War Memorial Opera House....
