Hotel Hauteness: A Merger of Luxurious Giants
Add the visionary genius of hotelier Andre Balazs to the luxurious international standard only Design Hotels can provide and what do you get? Thinking…Thinking…Still thinking? Okay. Okay. In case you haven’t already figured it out, the answer is some of the hautest hotels on the planet.
That’s right readers. Your favorite lifestyle magazine is proud to announce Design Hotels’ recent signing of four of Andre Balazs’ properties, The Standard, Hollywood; The Standard, Downtown LA; The Standard Spa, Miami Beach, and The Standard, New York.
“We are excited to have these hotels join our portfolio,” said Claus Sendlinger, founder and CEO of Design Hotels. “We have found the ideal partner to increase our presence in the U.S. market and provide our guests with additional outstanding properties in key urban destinations like New York, Miami, and Los Angeles.”
Balazs’ Standard brand debuted in 1999 in West Hollywood, California. Since then, the brand has unquestionably raised the “standard” of what it means to be a truly haute hotel.
According to a press release recently distributed by Design hotels, “Balazs realized early on that a new generation of young, fashionable and style-conscious consumers was emerging. They were hungry for a new hospitality experience: one that catered to their sophisticated tastes.”
Standard Hotels across the country have stood out with their own unique identity and distinct modern designs. But the one quality that has continually made Standard Hotels a step above rest is that each one offers an environment that connects guests to the local social scene, a fact that has kept them coming back time and time again.
