Hamburger Heaven: The Haute 5 Most Decadent Burgers in Las Vegas

You’re in the mood for a juicy, decadent burger with zest and sizzle. In-n-Out, McDonalds, and Burger King just won’t do. Maybe you’re looking for Kobe Beef, Foie Gras, or French artisan breads. Well, you’re in luck. Here are five of some of the best luxe burgers in Sin City.

FleurBurger 5000 at Fleur de Lys in Mandalay Bay
We start with one of the most extravagant burgers on the strip, the FleurBurger 5000. Created by Chef Hubert Keller of Fleur de Lys at Mandalay Bay, this gastronomic jackpot burger costs a whopping $5,000. What makes this so deliciously costly? Lets start with the Kobe burger topped with Fois Gras and black truffle served on a brioche truffle bun. Then, Chef Keller garnishes it with a special sauce consisting of more truffles. That’s not all. You also get a bottle of Chateau Petrus 1995 poured in Ichendorf Brunello stemware, exclusively imported from Italy. And the best part? The Fleur de Lys team will ship the glasses to your home at no additional charge. It’s a total steal!

Fleur de Lys is located inside Mandalay Bay at 3950 Las Vegas Bvld. South, 702-632-9400.

Rossini Burger at Burger Bar inside Mandalay Bay
If the FleurBurger 5000 is a little much for your wallet, don’t worry. Chef Keller created a more reasonable luxe burger at the Burger Bar inside Mandalay Bay. Named after a XIXth century Italian Composer, whose love of food was legendary, the Rossini burger is a taste bud delight. Made with Kobe Beef, this burger is always prepared with sautéed foie gras, and Black Peridgord Truffles in a rich brown sauce. It will make your mouth water and it’s a mere $60.

Burger Bar is located inside Mandalay Place at 3950 Las Vegas Blvd. South, 702-632-9364 3950.

$777 Burger at Burger Brasserie in the Paris Las Vegas
The $777 Burger at the Burger Brasserie is located in the Paris Hotel and Casino. This choice burger is on another level. Right off the bat, you get to choose one from four artisan buns, a classic sesame seed bun, a rich caramelized onion bun, an aged parmesan cheese bun, or an oven-dried tomato ciabatta, all baked fresh daily in the French boulangerie. Once you decide, you’ll be delighted with a surf and turf combo. The burger itself is 8oz. of hand patted American wagyu, kobe beef seared to order on their char broiler at a recommended 140F, making for the perfect medium rare burger. Then, they steam a quality Maine lobster, carefully removing the shell, slicing it, and placing it on top. Add on some American sweet onions, thinly sliced Italian Prosciutto, imported French triple cream brie, and finish off with a generous drizzle of 100-year aged balsamic vinegar from Modena, Italy, and you’ve got a tasty delight. If that’s not enough, you get your choice of pommes frites or French fries. To top everything off, choose an extremely limited production bottle of Dom Perignon Rose Champagne. This is a “French” experience you can all find in Vegas.

Burger Brasserie is located inside the Paris Hotel and Casino at 3655 S. Las Vegas Blvd., 702-967-4000.

The House Ground Steak Burger at Bradley Ogden inside Caesars Palace
Just across the street, the famous “House Ground Steak Burger,” at Bradley Ogden inside Caesars Palace has been named 2009 Burger of the year by GQ. This enticing burger starts with a super-soft, homemade Kaiser-ish roll with a shiny egg-washed lid.
