The Combination of Coffee and Beer?

Many people need their daily dose of a cup of Joe to wake up or perk up those spirits. Others feel just as strongly about beer on the weekends. Well, here’s some interesting news. According to Daily Dish, artisan coffee roaster Intelligentsia and newcomer local microbrewery Eagle Rock Brewery plan to join forces. “We are looking to do some really exciting things with coffee. Instead of going for a traditional dark beer, we want to experiment doing a lighter coffee beer,” a source told Daily Dish. A coffee beer? Well, we can’t wait to see how that turns out.

Celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck owns numerous restaurants and even has his own line of coffee so it’s not a surprise that he is a discerning customer when he goes out. Puck recently revealed that he not does he prefer to avoid Starbucks, he actually think their coffee is terrible.
