Perfect Timing for Vacheron Constantin
by Lauren Coto
Fine watch making is difficult to find, but so simple to appreciate. The SIHH 2010 Vacheron Constantin Patrimony Traditionnelle Perpetual Calendar Chrono Platinum is any watch enthusiasts’ dream with performance, reliability, and legendary movements. The movement in this watch is the Vacheron Calibre 1141QP, a caliber that has set the pace of some of the most dignified chronograph watches in their entire history. The caliber used in this watch is regarded by many as technically and is stylistically accomplished because of its complexity and architecture. The Calibre 1141QP vibrates over 18,000 times an hour. The smiling and melancholic moons are engraved by hand with on a plate of black patina and platinum. These accent pieces create the finishing touches that make this watch noteworthy and utterly remarkable. You can truly appreciate the true beauty of this watch on the reverse side because of the sapphire-crystal case back.
