One Madison Park Condo Sale
by Alison Agudo
A $10 million unit at One Madison Park was sold this week to technology entrepreneur and investor Yigal Lichtman.
One Madison Park is a 60-story condominium building that has recently gone through some tough times, like many residential buildings in New York City. Currently facing multiple lawsuits from creditors, “including one of its former brokers,” the sale of one of its four bedroom units came as very welcome news.
Yigal Lichtman closed on a $10 million unit that has four bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms and 3,310 square feet of living space located on the 42nd floor.
It’s reported that there is also a possible $1.5 million condo sale in the building which is imminent, with 15 other units under consideration from developers for a total of approximately $40 million.
The building could certainly use all the sales it can get as they are also dealing with some very “unhappy buyers who signed contracts in a better market and now want out” of the deal.
