New York Judge Rules Perelman Must Pay Ex Wife $3.4 Million
Manhattan state Supreme Court Justice Debra A. James ruled that Revlon cosmetics mogul Ronald Perelman must pay more than $3.4 million to the production company, Applehead I, that he started with his ex-wife, actress Ellen Barkin.
Although the couple divorced in 2006, they have since been entangled in numerous lawsuits relating to the company.
The NY judge ruled on the breach of contract case on December 21 that Perelman must repay the money with nine percent interest dating to January 1, 2007.
Barkin and her brother, George continue to operate the company. As a result, Perelman sued the siblings, claiming they transferred money from Applehead to form another company, but that case continues to be litigated.
