Love meat? Well, there’s a new spot in Miami that is quickly solidifying its reputation for having some of the best burgers and most delectable bacon fingers, among other dishes; so instead of salivating over your computer, read on to find out exactly where you can chow down.
Bliss is already being called one of the best places in Miami to grab a burger, and it just opened. Located in South Beach, this hotpot in the South of Fifth area has taken over the former Café Maurice space and transformed what used to be a swank French brasserie-style locale into a “temple of beefdom.”
The restaurant has impressively large windows that overlook lively Washington Avenue where guests can sit and devour two things some require to complete a meal: beer and burgers. The menu at Bliss offers helpful pairing suggestions for each of the nine different burgers, so come prepared to make some tough choices because everything on the menu is receiving rave reviews.
The restaurant also serves Little Piggy which is a confit of pork belly with a fried egg and Swiss cheese on a Parmesan bun that pairs nicely with the raspberry-tinged Abita Purple Haze and an item called Twenty Six which is a 26-hour slow-braised beef short rib with crispy Tabasco onions and smoked tomato relish. With the Twenty Six, Bliss suggests you cool down with a caramel-colored Bells Amber Ale which perfectly complements the succulent beef.
If you’re still hungry, or simply just want to get the most out of your visit to Bliss, try the Bacon Fingers. These are like chicken fingers in concept, except they are made out of bacon which can be dipped in maple syrup. I know, probably not the best place to accommodate new year’s resolutions that include eating healthy or losing some weight, but if you’re resolution is to enjoy life more, this is certainly a great way to start.

Bliss is located at 419 Washington Avenue, Miami Beach, Florida 33139; 305-674-1277.
