Tag Heuer Drops Tiger Woods

It’s a good assumption to make that when people are involved in several affairs, they don’t always consider all of the probably consequences. Unfortunately for Tiger Woods, the failure of his marriage wasn’t the only potential thing that could fall apart. It’s unfortunate that Woods likely didn’t take the probable consequences of his indiscretions into consideration, and what they could do to his career. In fact, he has just lost a third major sponsor, the luxury watch company Tag Heuer.
“We recognize Tiger Woods as a great sportsman, but we have to take account of the sensitivity of some consumers in relation to recent events,” said Tag Heuer CEO Jean-Christophe Babain. The company, whose luxury timepieces sell for thousands of dollars, said it would continue to support Woods’ charitable foundation but would rely on other celebrities, such as Leonardo DiCaprio, to be its public face.”
