Rolling Stone Comes To Life in Hollywood
by Nicole Campoy-Leffler

Often times, we flip through magazines and wonder how our life could look a little more like that – how could my closet look a little more like the editorial in Vogue, for example?  Rolling Stone, the iconic music and pop culture magazine that’s been changing the face of your iTunes for quite some time, is going to make that fantasy a little more real in 2010 – that is, assuming you’re willing to brave the Hollywood and Highland Center.

Rolling Stone is opening a venue that will include a restaurant, bar, lounge, and an event space designed by Brodin Design and it’s set to open next summer.  The venue’s owners, Lucky Rug Group’s Niall Donnelly and Joe Altounian, announced their partnership with Rolling Stone’s editor and publisher Jann S. Wenner earlier today.  They’ll be bringing the image of the magazine to life with this space and it is fitting to open this pioneering space in Los Angeles.

Hollywood and Highland is already home to Grauman’s Chinese and the Kodak Theatre as well as Lucky Strike Lanes, a number of restaurants and shops, and a whole host of tourists that pour in and out of our city every day.
