Adding to the haute factor is The Bazaar by José Andrés. We took our readers to The Bazaar in the print edition of Haute Living Los Angeles, but for those dedicated online readers, we want to make sure that you didn’t miss out on all the yummy offerings of this celebrity fav. Having received four stars and Restaurant of the Year awards, as well as recent recognition from The Wall Street Journal, this is most certainly a destination that should not be overlooked on your weekend agenda of fun. With construction costs of $12 million, our own Haute Living cover profile Sam Nazarian reports that the Bazaar has already grossed $13 million in just more than one year’s time, an unheard of figure in the economy we have experienced in 2009 and an honor only held by 50 restaurants in the U.S. this year.
With diners that include the likes of hotties David Beckham, Salma Hayek, and Natalie Portman, it is not only one of the best places for celeb sightings, but offers a delectable menu of meals made of tapas, accompanied by drinks and canapés dipped in vats of liquid nitrogen.
