In our quest to keep readers abreast of everything hot (including the smoke that may or may not emanate from certain rap stars’ homes in South Beach), we bring you yet another story of people with wealth acting not so haute.
It has been reported that although Grammy Award-winning rapper
Lil’ Wayne owns a $3.1 million posh pad in the Murano Grande, located in Miami Beach’s chichi South of Fifth neighborhood, he instead opts to pay rent for a $520,000 Miami condo that is currently for sale.
Unfortunately for the sellers, the rapper has allegedly embraced the stereotypical pot-smoking lifestyle portrayed in videos, as prospective buyers report “an overwhelming smell of marijuana” upon crossing the luxe threshold. And horror of horrors, it wasn’t just the blatant use of ridiculously illegal drugs that sent the clients running to the press with their claims, it was also the, “two hot, rap-video-looking girls…walking around in nothing but a bra and underwear, blasting hip-hop” that surely caused a nose snub. But who says pot makes you lazy? Weezy, as he is also known, is reportedly quite neat. The tipsters reported that, “He had a perfectly organized closet of crisp T-shirts on hangers, neatly stacked piles of XXL magazines, and a fully stocked bar featuring multiple bottles of Hennessy Black.”
