Jade Ocean and Jill Martin Celebrate Fashion For Dummies Book Launch

Fortune International’s Ana Cristina Defortuna and Honey Shine Mentoring Program founder Tracy Mourning (wife of NBA All-Star Alonzo Mourning) recently hosted Today Show regular Jill Martin and co-author Dana Ravich for the Fashion For Dummies book launch at the luxurious Jade Ocean residential tower in Sunny Isles Beach. Trendsetters and philanthropists including Amanda Tamis, Jennifer Postrel and Tara Solomon sipped cocktails while enjoying a cool South Florida breeze and sweeping ocean views from the pool deck.

Guests were treated to a sit-down meal in the tower’s poolside restaurant while Martin revealed secrets of the pros from how to accessorize an outfit with a scarf to unique ways to wear a white button down. During the luncheon, Madeline Arison was announced the lucky winner of a Saks Fifth Avenue gift card. Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour set up shop with the hottest looks for Spring at the pop up Trend Boutique.

Following the presentation, the ladies made their way to Jade Ocean’s Social Lounge for dessert and coffee, where each one walked away with an autographed copy of Fashion For Dummies. Other notable guests include CBS 4’s Adrienne Roark and Lisa Petrillo, Kelly Arison, Melissa Katz, Saks Fifth Avenue Bal Harbour General Manager Deborah Slack, and Dr. Shulamit Katzman.
