Haute French Castle with Michelin-Rated Restaurant
by Alison Agudo

Over in the exquisite Loire region of France is a hotel fit for guests who enjoy nothing short of the most luxurious lodging and decadent Michelin-rated dining. The Domaine Des Hauts de Loire is a hotel that features everything haute that we love about travel.

Heading to France anytime soon? If you won’t be staying in the infamous city of love but are looking for a nearby luxurious retreat, we recommend the Domaine Des Hauts de Loire, a beautiful hotel just two hours away from Paris that features a Michelin-rated restaurant. Oh la la.

From naturally elegant surroundings to a choice between resident and castle portions of the property, Domaine Des Hauts de Loire is a hotel you should not pass up when vacationing in France. Rooms have views of a nearby pond with swans and are sophisticatedly decorated in a traditional style which has been influenced by the remarkable French countryside. The apartment units of the property feature living salons, and couches that you comfortably sink into as you take a load off of your feet.

The property also features tennis courts, an outdoor pool, historical castles, wine tours, and cycling routes surrounding the ivy-covered buildings. The Michelin-rated restaurant on site includes delicious dishes such as beef poached in Montlouis wine and a Viennese pastry of scallops with pears, rice, and coconut milk.

Staying at this luxurious destination won’t cost you as much as you may anticipate either. Starting rates for the hotel are $157 for a single room and $787 for an apartment.

Bon voyage!
