Actor and comedian, Rob Schneider, is selling his Normandy-style estate in San Marino California for $3.6 million.
Forty-six-year-old actor Rob Schneider, best known for his starring in and co-writing the film “Deuce Bigalow: Male Gigolo”, is selling his San Marino home for $3.6 million.
The Normandy-style mansion was built in 1926 by architect Everett P. Babcock and features two stories that have retained much of its original charm. A large entry way opens up into a foyer with a tower staircase featuring Batchelder title risers. The home also includes beautiful arched doorways, a formal dining room, a butler’s pantry, dormer windows, and fireplaces located in the living room and master bedroom. The four-bedroom four bathroom home features 4,690 square feet of luxurious living space.
Outside the main house, elegant landscaping surrounds an oval-shaped saltwater pool situated on nearly half an acre of land. There is also a koi pond situated across the lawn just off the veranda in the back of the home.
In 2003 the property sold for $1,922,000. In 2010, Schneider will be starring in Adam Sandler’s film “Grown Ups” alongside funnymen Chris Rock and Kevin James.
