Gold Class Cinemas Open in Pasadena
This past year or two has seen many great changes in your lifestyle, are we right? First, you’ve had to start sharing the private jet with another family. The plans to expand the house to include a screening room have been put on hold. And someone even mentioned a timeshare.
You may have to hop on the freeway, but open now in Old Town Pasadena is Gold Class Cinemas – the only cinema that will feel like your own, personal screening room. They’re showing the same films on view at the AMCs around town, but does the usher at The Grove offer you a House Salad with your Calamari? Have they started shaking (or stirring) cocktails for you over at Century City? Have the theatres on the Third Street Promenade installed red, suede, reclining chairs with oversized armrests and tables? No – that was your plan for the east wing of your abode, remember?
So jet down to Pasadena for their Sunday Brunch or maybe pull the kid out of school on a Wednesday at noon to enjoy one of their Flicks with Tots. The only qualm you can have is that, unlike you’re personal screening room, you can’t choose the films they show. That’s ok – 2012 can’t stay in theatres forever.
