Lowe and his wife, Tamara A. Lowe. The Lowe’s quickly turned around and sold the mansion to Germantown-Seneca Joint Venture, a Maryland-based for a reported price of $22,458,406.34.
The beautiful 32,000-square-foot, eight-bedroom, nineteen-bathroom, multi-level home is situated on nearly three acres of land. The property features 300-feet of ocean and waterway frontage, a 12-car garage, a magnificent oceanfront grand salon, oceanfront gourmet kitchen with separate catering kitchen, a movie theater, fitness center, games room, elaborate office, marble basement, a 2000-bottle wine cellar, guest house, tennis court with pavilion, tropical pool with grotto waterfalls and swim-up bar, a seawall with retractable stairs for beach access, and a fully accessorized dock to accommodate yachts.
Prior to the home being sold to the Lowes, who subsequently sold the home, bought it back. and sold it again, the mansion belonged to Lois Pope, Pope’s widow and third wife who had been the owner since the early 1970s.
