Another New LA Restaurant for Your 2010 Dining Agenda
For those opting to heed our call for new year’s resolutions that include proclamations for more gourmet dining in 2010, there are some Los Angeles venues who are stepping up to assist in the challenge. Included in our list of must-tries for 2010 is The Market in Santa Monica Place. We have never denied our adoration of San Francisco’s farmers markets like that found at the Ferry Building, which is why we can’t wait to see how this epicurean delight will fare with L.A.’s most discerning palates. Embracing the farm-to-table movement that Chef Alice Waters of Chez Panisse first introduced years ago, The Market’s main draw for its debut will be independently-owned purveyors offering the delicacies that we so adore, including cheeses, fish, meat, flowers, and chocolate.
And while we do mean to tempt your taste buds in the reporting of this news, we must warn readers not to start salivating too much at this moment, as The Market is not scheduled for an opening until Fall 2010.
