American fashion mogul, Tommy Hilfiger, has sold his Greenwich, Connecticut estate for $20 million after being on the market for more than a year. Fifty-eight-year-old Hilfiger has finally sold his Greenwich home for $20 million after the house was listed for more than a year. Originally listed for $27.9 million, Hilfiger dropped the price and the house now belongs to an unnamed individual. The home known as Stone Hill is set on four acres of land and is a 20,000-square-foot Georgian mansion with eight bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The luxurious mansion also features a private movie theater, a 2,000-bottle wine cellar, an indoor basketball course, a tennis court, a pool, and a gym, sauna, and spa-treatment room. The designer, responsible for taking a vision of classic American sportswear and making it into one of the world’s most recognizable lifestyle brands, bought Stone Hill in 2005 for $18 million. The home was newly constructed at the time, but Hilfiger added his own personal touches with custom millwork and exotic wall treatments that include cashmere and crocodile skins.
