New York Restaurants Littered with Celebs
by Alison Agudo

While any typical day in New York could lend to a celebrity sighting or two, for some reason last week the city saw an incredible overload of celebs sprouting up at restaurants all over town.

Nello is one place celebs love to drop by when they are in town, and last week was certainly no exception as the restaurant saw rapper and entrepreneur Jay-Z joining Yankee third baseman Alex Rodriguez for dinner. But Nello wasn’t the only place high-profile individuals were bee-lining for.

The Grand Central Oyster bar was the restaurant of choice for Tom Brokaw; Uma Thurman and Amy Sacco dined near Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana at the bar at Hotel Griffou; Sean Combs celebrated his 40th birthday at Kiss and Fly; Kelly Ripa, Mark Conseulos, Howard Stern, and Beth Ostrosky dined together at Lure Fishfar; Ashley Tisdale dined Ollie’s noodle chain; Meg Ryan enjoyed a quiet meal alone at Pastis; Matt Damon had lunch with his wife at Sant Ambroeus; and Naomi Watts enjoyed a quick bite at The Smile on Bond Street.
