Mac McAnally To Perform at Land Shark Tailgate Stage
by Alison Agudo

Award-winning singer and songwriter, and one of the country music’s most celebrated recording artists, Mac McAnally, is scheduled to be the main act at the Land Shark Tailgate Stage on November 15, 2009, prior to the Dolphins-Buccaneers game in Miami.

The live performance is set to begin at noon and will be his first ever performance at Land Shark Stadium. McAnally will also be performing live at the official “Snowflakes In The City” Tree Lighting and Snowfall Ceremony at CityPlace Plaza in West Palm Beach on Saturday evening.  As West Palm Beach’s highlight on the South Florida events Calendar, the Snowflakes In The City Tree Lighting and Snowfall Ceremony are anticipated to be quite the spectacle. The Miami Dolphins have a new a cappella group, Dolphins Voices, who will perform holiday favorites along with the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders who will be dressed in festive costumes ready to entertain the crowd and host contests for guests to win amazing Dolphin prizes.

McAnally says, “I’m very excited to be part of the Miami Dolphins game-day experience at Land Shark Stadium. As a long-time friend of Jimmy Buffett and member of the band, I can’t help noticing how much fun he has been having with his few family of Parrotheads and Dol-Fans. I look forward to performing in front of Miami’s most fun-loving crowd and helping to further represent the South Florida lifestyle.”

There is an ongoing state-wide sweepstakes offering Florida residents the chance to win two tickets to the McAnally concert and the Dolphins game on November 15. Included in the package is a m eet-and-greet with the country superstar, access to the Ford Sideline Club and luxurious Ocean Drive Club. Further details on the sweepstakes can be found at www.margaritaville.com/dolphins.

Previous Land Shark Tailgate Stage artists have included Jimmy Buffett, Carmit Bachar of the Pussycat Dolls, and American Idol winner Kris Allen.
