Keeping it in the Lauder Family
by Alison Agudo

Aerin Lauder Zinterhofer, daughter of billionaire Ronald Lauder of Estee Lauder fame, has just bought her father’s $5.256 million Wainscott property.

Zinterhofer was married on the property to her now-husband in 1996, and the Wainscott residence is one of many that Ronald Lauder owns. Son of the founder of Estee Lauder high-end cosmetics, Ronald also owns homes in East Hampton and Westhampton Beach.

Zinterhofer is the senior vice president of the famed cosmetics company and the Wainscott estate is certainly a nod to her success within the family-run company. The sale was officially completed on October 5, 2009.
