Haute Living Thanksgiving!

Here are a few Zagat restaurants suggestions in the area that are offering a HAUTE Thanksgiving menu. If slaving in the kitchen all-day and cleaning up all night is not your idea of a holiday meal, then try one of these restaurants and be thankful for restaurant chefs.

Where: Ame, 689 Mission St.; 415-284-4040
Menu: Chef Stone offers a five-course tasting menu. Menu still in the works, and will be served from 4-8 pm.

Where: Americano, 8 Mission St.; 415-278-3777
Menu: Chef Paul Arenstam offers a Slow Food inspired menu, including: roasted butternut squash soup with crème fraiche, and Dungeness crab. Family Thanksgiving platter includes all-natural heritage turkey, Brussels sprouts with lemon confit and chestnuts, Hog Island oyster and fennel sausage stuffing, mashed potatoes and cranberry orange relish. Beach Chalet Brewery: Traditional Turkey, rack of lamb, dayboat scallops and vegetarian pasta. Three-course prix fixe menu available starting at noon.
Park Chalet: Bottomless Champagne Buffet: includes traditional Thanksgiving dishes, peel-and-eat shrimp, Caesar salad, house-smoked salmon flatbread, and chocolate dipped strawberries.

Menu: Branigan turkey with andouille stuffing, pan-roasted Maine scallops, pumpkin gnocchi, warm apple tart with vanilla-whipped mascarpone and persimmon pudding with spiced pecans, bourbon ice cream and caramel sauce. To-go orders: Turkey sandwich-with the works.

Menu: Roast Diestel turkey, grilled New York steak, gnocchi or halibut

Menu: Five-course meal includes walnut bread, roasted chestnuts, barley-wild rice risotto, truffled potato custard, and gingerbread ice cream.

Where: One Market Restaurant, 1 Market St.; 415-777-5577
Menu: Chef Mark Dommen’s offers-Roasted Willie Bird turkey, cornbread stuffing, root vegetables, shallot-thyme gravy, mushroom risotto with herb salad, pumpkin soup with marshmallows, roasted fall-squash skewer, and pumpkin brioche bread pudding.

Menu: Braised turkey, bourbon-gin gravy, grilled wild boar chops, osso buco, pumpkin ravioli with brussel sprouts, and a selection of dolci for dessert.

Menu: Enjoy a four-course meal in the on-site beds.

Menu: Chef Romuald Feger cooks up roasted organic turkey breat, sweet potato and banana mousseline, cranberry sauce, cornbread, red kuri squash soup, roasted fall vegetables, and “Grandma’s” pumpkin pie.
