Haute Estate: Jerry Rice’s $14.75 million Home
by Alison Agudo

Wide receiver for the 49er’s, Jerry Rice, has just listed his estate on the market for $14.75 million.

Following in the footsteps of fellow 49er Joe Montana, wide receiver for the team, Jerry Rice, has just listed his Atherton, California real estate for $14.75 million. Even in a town known for its lavish and expensive homes, Rice’s stands out from the crowd and comfortably finds its place among one of the hautest estates as of late.

The 16,000-square-foot home rests on 1.2 acres and was built in 2001 and features six bedrooms, three levels accessible by elevator, a family room with a wet bar, a lower level game room with a full bar, a wine room, a crafts room, and a full gym that includes its own bathroom. There is also a pool, spa, and underground parking for seven.

According to the listing, Jerry Rice’s luxury real estate boasts more than $2 million in electronics, including an advanced security system (which you’d need if there are in fact more than $2 million in electronics inside…), smart home features, and a large home theater. In 2007 the home was listed for $22 million, but now the price rests at $14.75 million.
