by Sean Farrell
We here at Haute Living have some great news and can barely contain our excitement at the thought! Around the World in 80 Sips is returning to New York.
At this point, allow me to offer you a word of warning. If you do not enjoy being spoiled rotten, stop reading now. I for one believe there is nothing more satisfying in this world than being faced with a host of delicious and refreshing options, especially when they are a selection of the world’s finest wines.
This Friday, the New York wine community will rejoice as the finest showcase of offerings from local wine shops is back in town. Around the World in 80 Sips provides the opportunity to sample a bottle you may not yet have tried, or to return for an indulgent little sip to one of your old favorites.
Every wine producing continent will be represented with samples from China, France, South Africa, New Zealand and Argentina, among many other countries. In an informal setting, experts will advise and answer questions, ensuring the evening is an enjoyable experience for all.
Around the World in 80 Sips is brought to New York by Bottlenotes, the online wine community. The event takes place between 6.30-8.30pm on the evening of Friday November 13th. If you wish for privacy, there is also a VIP option from 5.30-6.30pm, which allows you to sample in a more discrete setting.
Tickets can be purchased online and the venue is 583 Park Avenue, New York. So if you are eager for a new taste for the Holiday Season or just wish to broaden your wine knowledge, this is definitely worth checking out.
For more information contact 80sips@bottlenotes.com or click here. A portion of ticket sales for this event will benefit Robin Hood, a group targeting poverty in New York City. Do you want some cheese with that?
