Another one Bites the Dust?
by Alison Agudo

Could it be? Another fabulous restaurant set to shut its high-end doors? Word is spreading that celebrity chef David Burke’s restaurant in Las Vegas may indeed be headed toward that sad fate.

David Burke Las Vegas, located in the middle of The Venetian, is said to be on its last legs, although Burke himself is denying the allegation.

Others, however, aren’t so sure. “The fact is, David Burke doesn’t show up here much, and the place is hanging on by its fingernails, despite having vastly improved its food,” some say. Could this be another tragic case of the economy sidelining high-end dining, or will David Burke Las Vegas be able to clamor through the alleged trouble (and the rumors) and have another day under the Vegas sun? Here’s hoping!

Stay tuned!

Ask any English person what a slider is and expect blank stares. Ask for mini-burgers and you might be on to something. Still, while the name is new in London, the concept is great. Tiny little burgers to nibble as you drink. We might know them as starters, nibbles, canapés, tapas or simply mini-bu...
