by Alison Agudo

If you’re a grilled cheese fan, here’s some tasty news for you. The American Grilled Cheese Kitchen, which is exactly what it sounds like, a restaurant dedicated to the classic American grilled cheese sandwich, will be opening its doors on South Park Avenue this winter.

Expected to deliver multiple mouth-watering variations of the traditional grilled cheese sandwich, The American Grilled Cheese Kitchen is a decorated grilled cheese maker and will also features a beer and wine license. The restaurant will also serve up a variety of soups and other gourmet sandwiches. On the menu, expect specialties such as a butternut squash sandwich, Italian fontina, and a gruyere sandwich.
