A Room with a Thanksgiving View
by Alison Agudo

I know, I know…Halloween decorations still adorn mailboxes and restaurant facades and we’re already thinking about Thanksgiving? It’s the same every year—holidays begin to mesh together and it seems almost impossible to get out of the festive mood, but what’s so bad about that? Let’s face it, the quicker we accept the constantly approaching holidays, the more we can just enjoy them; which is what we hope to help you do this Thanksgiving, especially if you’re in New York City and need a luxurious place to stay.

With the holiday for giving thanks just a few weeks away, we thought it might be helpful for us to give you a little advice on where you could stay to experience the renowned Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York.

The London Hotel is located just around the corner from the parade’s new routing down Seventh Avenue, perfect for spectators to be a part of the giant balloons display floating through the city. The London hotel is a sleek, smart, and sophisticated place to spend the holidays completely unique to its cosmopolitan location. With 562 rooms, the hotel is located at 151 West 54 Street between Sixth and Seventh Avenues and is the perfect place to cozy up inside and enjoy delicious food and beverages in Gordon Ramsey’s award-winning restaurant after taking in the day’s events.

To make the most of the holiday weekend, after the parade is finished guests can enjoy a relaxing day in near-by Central Park. New York’s infamous park is only a few short blocks away from the hotel, so guests can meander over and enjoy an afternoon walking through the park with a picnic basket provided by the hotel and filled to the brim with tasty creations provided by Chef Ramsey himself.

See, thinking about Thanksgiving isn’t that bad, now is it?
