The Kitchen is Getting Haute!
by Jessica Davis

Another reality television competition series is casting in Miami—this time, Top Chef!  If cutting, chopping, basting, baking, seasoning and serving are included in your hobbies, then the casting directors want to see you.  They are looking for contestants who are not only passionate and knowledgeable about cooking, but who also add that extra zest with charisma and creativity.

Try-outs in Miami will be held on Sunday, October 25th, at CLUB 50 in Viceroy Miami.  The legendary Viceroy Miami Hotel is located at 485 Brickell Avenue and CLUB 50 is the hotel’s exclusive rooftop lounge perched 50 stories above the city.  Casting agents will be there from 10:00a.m. to 2:00p.m., and all you need to do is arrive—no knives needed!  Complete details are available on the Top Chef website, but a filled out application and 5 minute video are listed as requirements.  If you can’t make Miami, auditions are also being held in: San Francisco, Chicago, DC, New York, Dallas and Los Angeles.

This is your chance to spice up prime-time television and show the world how haute a kitchen can really get!
