Philanthropist Boutique Gives Back to Community
by Alison Agudo

The Philanthropist Boutique in Presidio Heights, San Francisco held a noteworthy cocktail party in honor of the Children of Shelters, the boutique’s new quarterly charity recipient.

Incorporating high-end designs and a charitable cause, Philanthropist Boutique owners Jessica and Jason Moment hosted the kick-off event as the start of the Children of Shelters annual Jingle Mingle and SantaFest parties. If you’re in the area and have an inclination to not only get a hold of some of San Francisco’s hautest fashion but also contribute to a great cause, visit Philanthropist Boutique where all of the their profits through December 31, 2009 will go directly to Children of Shelters.

Immediately following the successful cocktail event, Philanthropist Boutique held a private dinner function at Spruce Restaurant in honor of Temple St. Clair, the store’s special guest jewelry designer and Children of Shelters.

Privy to the jewelry designer’s most distinctive collection, dinner guests enjoyed table-side rare-colored gemstone bracelets, cocktail rings, earrings, and necklaces, all superbly set in 18 carat yellow and rose gold.

The Children of Shelter foundation helps with the educational and emotional needs of an estimated 4,000 children living in or being served by San Francisco’s transitional shelters. The shelter’s annual holiday events benefit the city’s children in need and are a true testament to the potential goals that high-fashion and a worthy cause can conquer.

If you’d like to be a part of making some of San Francisco’s most vulnerable children’s lives better, this year’s Jingle & Mingle event will be held on December 3, 2009 at The Officer’s Club in The Presidio where you can enjoy a cocktail reception and hors d’oeuvres while bidding on beautiful designer wreaths.

SantaFest’s morning family party will be held on December 5, 2009 and will feature holiday inspired crafts, decorations, and even a visit with Santa.
