Haute Living New York Dec/Jan 2012
One on One with Nightlife King Jason Strauss
by Christina Bohnstengel

Never ones to shy away from the headlines, Jason Strauss and partner Noah Tepperberg saw their names in ink once again last week with reports that the dynamic duo teamed up with the owners of the New York pizza restaurant Artichoke. Refusing to sit back and rest on their many bicoastal successes (Marquee, Avenue, and Lavo in Las Vegas’ Palazzo Resort-Hotel-Casino), Jason and Noah will be backing Tony Basille and Francis Garcia to develop Artichoke into a collection consisting of an 80-seat restaurant, bar, and a pizza-by-the-slice take-out window.

Veering off of their well-traveled path of trendy nightclubs and ultrachic “gastro lounges,” it will be fascinating to watch the whiz kids apply their Midas touch to take-out pizza.

In the September/October issue of Haute Living Los Angeles, we caught up with Jason to talk about the genesis of his partnership with best friend Noah, a collaboration that resulted in their company Strategic Group. In our one-on-one interview, Jason explains how they were able to build Strategic Group into a marketing company that now extends into various types of lifestyle marketing, special events, brand promotions, and public relations projects. He also expounds on his love for Las Vegas, European vacations that double as sources of inspiration for the design of his clubs, and prospective plans to expand the Tao brand into other markets like Miami and London.

Read more about what makes the mind of Jason Strauss tick in the latest issue of Haute Living Los Angeles.
