J. Lo and Marc Anthony at Icon Brickell

Rumors have been swirling—and now they appear confirmed — Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony have placed 10 units under contract at Icon Brickell, while simultaneously having their Bel Air home on the market for $7.9 million.

Because Lopez and Anthony often crash at JR and Loren Ridinger’s Casa de Sueños, the timing could not be more perfect for the couple to settle in their own posh pad, since their best friends are back from New York and inhabiting their waterfront estate on North Bay Road once again.

With mansions in New York and Los Angeles, Miami seems like the right addition to their real estate collection. Last month Anthony used the halftime stage at Miami’s Land Shark Stadium, during the Dolphins matchup against the Indianapolis Colts, to announce that he and his wife bought a penthouse condominium in the Philippe Starck-designed high-rise building. (Anthony recently became one of a slew of celebrity minor owners investing in the renamed stadium.)

Rumor has it developer Jorge Perez has been schmoozing around town in order to boost the sales of the troubled building with celebrity residents. The Miami Herald reported that the two-bath, 1450-square-foot unit next door to them will be sold to the Dolphins and another to Venus and Serena Williams.

These celebs must have an optimistic attitude because just recently prices were reduced to around $350-$400 per square foot. Even so, Anthony declared that once done decorating it will be “the sexiest place in town.”
