dineLA 2009: Fine Dining On A Dime
by Malika Bierstein

It’s time to let your inner foodie run wild. From October 4-9 and October 11-16, 2009, you can experience the opulence of fine dining at economical rates during the 2009 dineLA Restaurant Week. Presented by LA INC., The Los Angeles Convention and Visitors Bureau, in partnership with American Express, dineLA will offer specially priced three-course menus at an assortment of over 200 new, hot, tried and true restaurants from Long Beach to the San Fernando Valley, including such Haute Living favorites as Mr. Chow’s, Katsuya and The Boulevard at Beverly Wilshire, to name a few. With three organized tiers of Deluxe, Premiere and Fine Dining to choose from, the perfect level of luxury to satiate your needs awaits.

The event, which will showcase the diverse and extraordinary culinary talent that exists in L.A. County, drew 150,000 diners to 175 restaurants in February and is sure to exceed that in its encore extravaganza. With a plethora of exotic flavors, passion, and panache, this premier food and wine event is sure to please your palate.

“Just look at the sheer number and variety of restaurants on the dineLA website and you’ll see how much LA’s dining community is truly embracing the Fall dineLA Restaurant Week program,” said Mark Liberman, president and CEO of LA INC. “Our intent was to create a dining program that would both support and promote the spectacular LA restaurant scene and I feel confident the Fall dineLA Restaurant Week will be an important boost to the local economy.”

Reservations may be made either online or through the restaurants directly. Due to the popularity of this event, advance reservations are strongly encouraged. Good taste should be rewarded. Indulge yourself.

Beautiful view. Check. Great food. Check. Famous chef. Check. We are of course referring to WP24, Wolfgang Puck's new eatery on the 24th floor of the Ritz Carlton in the downtown L.A. Live area.
