Alex Rodriguez and Ex Slash $2.6 Million Off Asking Price For Coral Gables Estate Updating an earlier post, Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez and his ex, Cynthia, have lowered their asking price for the South Florida estate they’ve been trying to unload. Previously, the mansion was listed at $14.9 million. Now, however, it can be had for $12.3 million, only $300,000 more than what they bought it for in 2004. Billed as a private sanctuary on the bay, the Mediterranean-styled mansion is completely renovated with a unique combination of new and old handcrafted, custom designed finishes. Situated on more than an acre of park like grounds, the 8,310-square-foot home at 181 E. Sunrise Avenue in Coral Gables, has 6 bedrooms and 5 full (and 3 partial) bathrooms.
