Times are tough, we get it. But they aren’t completely unbearable with those with a modicum of extra cash, who are being given the run of five-star resorts for two-star prices. The NY Times has an interesting article today about the deals available at some of the top luxury resorts in response to the sluggish travel industry that is the result of the downed economy. The article reports that Four Seasons in New York, Miami, and Scottsdale, Ariz., are offering a third night free, and Boca Raton Resort & Club has a two-connecting-rooms for one deal.
WWD has a similar article about jet-setting resorts offering a price break. Combine this with Reuters report that many Hamptons homes are being rented this year, and it seems that those with a little extra cash to burn have their choice of amazingly discounted stays at some amazing resorts around the country.
