Socialites and fashionistas alike gathered last week to enjoy cocktails, clothing, and spectacular penthouse views of New York City’s skyline at an exclusive sample sale for designer Catherine Fulmer.
Hosted at the Gramercy Yoo by Philipe Starck along with 10 Cane Rum and a bevy of others including representatives from Vogue and Vanity Fair, the soiree featured fashions from Fulmer’s Spring 2008 collection. Held in the hotel’s luxurious penthouse suite adorned with one-of-a-kind furniture, attendees stepped out on the plush terraces to socialize in the sunset. The penthouse, marketed by SHVO, is currently for sale at a price of $3.67 million.
Fulmer, a former model, began her designing career outfitting celebrity friends in colorful silk frocks and elegant strapless cocktail dresses. Not only does Fulmer cater to her A-list clientele by creating custom orders, but her clothing can also be found at boutiques such as Satine in Los Angeles and Eva in New York.
Legendary designer and founder of the interior design company, yoo, Philippe Starck has collaborated with real estate developer Century Properties Group Inc. for the creation of a new luxury residential tower in Manila, Philippines.
