9th Annual ART FOR LIFE East Hampton Benefit Gala
by HauteLiving

Leave it to Russell Simmons to ‘make it rain,’ and in shades of violet no less. Rush Philanthropic Arts Foundation will hold its 9th Annual ART FOR LIFE East Hampton benefit gala on Saturday July 19. Held at Russell Simmons’ East Hampton estate, the benefit will be hosted by Honorary Chairs Tamia and Grant Hill to the theme of “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” and the color violet.
Highlighted by live and silent auctions, this year’s gala will feature frocks, jewels, and other accessories donated by A-list fashion designers. In addition to fashion, there will be many featured artists, beneficiaries, honorees, celebrities, and influential figures in attendance.
The ART FOR LIFE East Hampton benefit gala is Rush Philanthropic’s primary annual fundraising effort to support nearly 50 organizations, fostering artistic expression of disadvantaged New York City youth. Close to 900 leaders from the entertainment, arts, business and philanthropic communities attend this hot-ticket event each year, which raised $1.4 million last year.
Individual tickets start at $1,500 and tables of 10 are from $15,000. For ticketing information please call 212.254.6677 or 212.614.0400 or send an email to tdoolin@inezevents.com.
