Songwriter Moby puts Central Park West home on the market
by HauteLiving

Moby (real name Richard Melville Hall; nicknamed after Moby Dick, the novel written by his great-great-great-great uncle) is apparently looking to move out of his incredible Central Park West “four-level art deco sky castle” in the El Dorado, and has listed the property at a rather reasonable (well, relatively speaking) $7.5 million.
The home, which was taken of the market a few months ago when a potential deal fell through (details are scarce), features unobstructed views of Central Park and the midtown skylines. There are two opulently adorned bedrooms and marble bathrooms, wood floors, and an incredible terrace overlooking the city.
The home occupies the top four floors of the El Dorado’s south tower, and was renovated in 2006. The enormous living room includes a fully functional fireplace, crown molding, and fantastic views of the city.
What’s Moby’s rush? After taking a look at this fantastic home, we’re not exactly sure. But his loss is potentially your gain.
