Better. Faster. Stronger. These are three words that describe the legacy and progression of the Lamborghini brand and the automobiles that they’ve developed over the years.

While all of Lamborghini models garner awed stares as they cruise down the street thanks to their sleek lines and purring engines, the Italian automakers have topped themselves with the creation of the Lamborghini Reventón, a new, limited-edition super car that is born to become a legend.

Created in Sant’Agata Bolognese, the original birthplace of the Lamborghini brand and the native home of every Lamborghini, the Reventón is a true force to be reckoned with. With only 20 produced worldwide, the machine is a tremendous car with no comparisons. Each masterpiece, which have all been claimed, sold for $1.4 million, further propelling the car in its category of exclusivity. As far as the price tag goes, the Reventón may have other contenders, but when it comes to its technical and forceful ability, it is unrivalled.

President and CEO of Automobili Lamborghini S.p.A. Stephan Winkelmann takes pride in the provocative and innovative style of all the Lamborghinis, but believes there’s something additionally unique about the Reventón.

“The Reventón is the most extreme of all, a true automotive superlative,” he says. “Our designers at the Lamborghini Style Centre took the technical base of the Murciélago LP640, compressed and intensified its DNA-its genetic code.”

Named after a famous bull who killed the renowned bullfighter Felix Guzman in 1943, the Reventón has an ideal exterior which utilizes the modern aeronautics that have worked for the fastest and most agile airplanes in the world. The shape and design of the Reventón was modeled after one of the fastest aircrafts, the F-22 Raptor Fighter jet.

The design has interrupted lines and contorted surfaces that create a fascinating play of light, which gives the car unbelievable movement. The exterior is made of CFC, a carbon fiber composite that takes weight off of the frame, making it lighter and faster. Every aspect of the car has a particular purpose that combines to achieve both speed and an extraordinary look.

Even a new color has been created for the auto. Designers in Sant’Agata Bolognese developed Reventón, a self-titled hue in mid-opaque green/gray that does not incorporate the usual Lambo shine. Yet due to the the metallic particles found in Reventón, when in daylight, the color tone highlights an astonishing depth.

The characteristics under the hood are just as impressive as the exterior. The Reventón packs unparalleled power from its V12 engine that delivers 650 horsepower and 487 pound-feet of torque. The muscle from the engine edges its cousin, the Murciélago, by 20 horses, blasting from 0 to 62mph in a mere 3.4 seconds. For those of you who don’t speak car, this basically means that if you blink, you just might miss the Reventón cruise by.

This limited edition super car is sure to catch the eye of anyone who is stern about the appearance and performance of their car. This masterpiece is the perfect example of synthesis between the exclusivity of a haute couture automobile and the drivability of a standard sports car. This is absolutely a remarkable machine that will surely be a sought-after prized possession.
