Larry Ellison
Malibu, California

This palace is a playground for mega-rich “Oracle” software CEO Larry Ellison. Ellison bought this house from music producer David Foster in 2005 for $20 million. The compound, which includes nine bedrooms, three recording studios, a guesthouse, pool, tennis court, and on-site spa, has its own funicular— a self-contained cable railway used to cart guests from the mansion on down to the pool. This impressive palace is only one of Ellison’s homes; the billionaire, who is listed as #4 on Forbes’ list of the richest people worldwide, owns more than 12 properties in Malibu, which have a reported total value of more than $180 million. He also has homes in Woodside, California and San Francisco.

Rod Stewart
Beverly Park

Accomplished musician Rod Stewart is at home in the exclusive gated community of Beverly Park Estates. He purchased the home in 1991 for $9.5 million. The 18,794 square foot home has 8 bedrooms and 13 baths. Stewart’s now infamous brood, which includes socialite Kim and troublemaker Sean, refuse to move out of the home. The rocker has no choice but to renovate to accommodate his offspring. The compound will now include a $2.5 million house in the garden, complete with its own disco. The estate also boasts a pool, tennis court, and detached guesthouse.

Ron Perelman
East Hampton

Billionaire Revlon magnate Perelman purchased this estate, called “The Creeks,” on Georgica Pond in 1990 for the bargain price of $12.5 million. The house was originally built in the late 1890’s by affluent artists Albert and Adele Herter. If Perelman was to sell the 57 acres now, it is estimated that he could claim more than $70 million, according to Forbes.com.

Donald Trump
Palm Beach

Never content to do things under the radar, Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate encompasses 20 pristinely manicured acres in the mega-exclusive Palm Beach. The land is considered to be the most valuable piece of land in all of Florida. The mansion, built 1924-1927, was originally owned by Marjorie Merriweather Post, a leading American Socialite, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Trump purchased the house in 1985, and spent millions restoring the property to its original glory. The 62,000 square foot home has an unbelievable 58 bedrooms, 33 bathrooms, a 29-foot-long solid marble dining table, 12 fireplaces, and three bomb shelters. Now home to the Mar-A-Lago Club, the property also includes a 20,000 square foot ballroom, a luxurious beach club, and so much more.
