Canyon Ranch Sets in Sights in the Windy City

The masterminds behind Canyon Ranch are at it again. As we reported in the Florida May/June 2007 issue of Haute Living, Canyon Ranch is bringing its tried-and-true techniques to Miami Beach as it opens Canyon Ranch Living Condominiums. Now, the leader of the spa industry is further branching into the real estate market with the addition of Canyon Ranch Living Chicago, a 67-story condo-hotel at Huron and Rush Streets, set to open in 2011 . Similar to the Miami Beach Canyon Ranch Living, the Chicago development will strive to immerse its residents in the Canyon Ranch lifestyle that has been so popular at its spas in Tuscon, Arizona and Lennox, Massachusetts. Among the standard spa amenities, residents will also have access to on-site physicians, nurses, nutritionists, and exercise physiologists. While Canyon Ranch has seen many copy-cats, no one will be able to duplicate the health and wellness lifestyle that has become their trademark. Via Chicago Tribune

The magic city isn't magical because of rabbits in hats or sawed off corpses; no, the Miami magic happens after the sun sets. And don't be fooled, getting in can be a practice in the art of magic as well; but as long as you're trying, here's where we recommend you spend your efforts. Good luck!
