Ron Perelman
East Hampton
Billionaire Revlon magnate Perelman purchased this estate, named “The Creeks,” on Georgica Pond in 1990 for the bargain price of $12.5 million. The house was originally built in the late 1890’s by affluent artists Albert and Adele Herter. If Perelman was to sell the 57-acres now, it is estimated that he could claim more than $70 million, according to Forbes.com.

East Hampton
Located on Georgica Pond, Spielberg’s estate, purchased in 1983, includes a main house, guesthouse, a studio-complete with screening room, editing bay, and offices-horse stables, and staff quarters. Spielberg also bought acres across the pond in order to preserve his view and privacy. Local brokers estimate the value of the property to be $64 million.

East Hampton
When Katie Couric said goodbye to morning television, she said hello to this East Hampton summer retreat, which came with a price tag of $6.3 million. The 7,000 square foot house has seven bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a pool. A tennis court is also on the property so that the perky Couric can keep active.
